Default Loose rubber (hose ends?) in engine bay

Hey everyone, just found these lying about in the engine bay, possibly from a previous owners' fixing.

No idea what they do or once would've done, does anybody else know?

Cheers,

Arvid

I think they are headlamp 'breathers' for airflow. Condensation can buildup in the assemblies.

Those are indeed the breather fittings from the headlamp units.

Hi JaguArvid.
Yes they are, as mentioned, the "breathers" for the headlights. Should be two on each headlight.
I'm not sure if they are needed??

Hope this has helped.
