Sorry I haven't posted in a while as I have been super busy. The car died and so I took it to a dealer who specializes in foreign cars and I got a quote for $5000 ?

I can list what he quoted me, but he sent it in a pdf so I would rather not post the invoice as it has his details and don't want to get into any trouble.

Apparently, the fuel pump failed and he replaced it for $1250, there are a few other things he suggested that I should get fixed and as I am a automotive literate, I guess I'll just have to chip away at it.

If anyone is interested, I can copy the information from the invoice and post it here, it would be great to see if I could do any of the things he suggested myself to save some money.

I'd definitely suggest posting it. If there are easy problems to fix, it may save you a significant amount of money.
