Default "Low brake fluid " warning

Hi, just acquired a 2003 x-type with 65,000 miles, and the dealer was supposed to have this warning corrected , as the fluid is fine. Also the ebrake red light is always on. He had his mechanics try to fix but after several attempts , they are unable , they are not jaguar mechanics. They did change the plug that goes into the fluid case, and I had a friend try to bypass, or short the plug to turn the light off, but that did not work, if anyone had a DIY fix, I would greatly appreciate . Thanks

E-brake light is lit if you have a low brake fluid level, so if you sort that out it should go out, if not then check the e-brake switch. As for low brake fluid if you put those 2 pins together and it didn't go out then check that you have ground on one pin. If you don't have ground then there's your problem, if you have ground then you should have damaged wiring somewhere.

I followed the wires leading out of the brake fluid container , and I don't see any signs of a short, do I have to have this rewired ?
