Default Low washer fluid level

Hey guys, I have my "LOW WASHER FLUID LEVEL" light on. I checked the reservoir and it still has fluid in it. I drained the fluid, checked the thermostat and it everything looks normal...But the light is still not going away. I hit reset and the light still would not go away. Do you think an OBII reader would permanently clear it out and it wont come back because it is annoying?

aibeekay, the "Low Washer Fluid Level" is due to a bad sensor in your washer bottle. The low level switch is a common problem with our vehicles for something like this. Unfortunately, to change out the switch, you need to pull off the front bumper. From there, replacing the switch is easy. The fluid bottle is located in the front passenger corner of your car. The switch is fairly cheap.

Thanks Thermo, you are always a lifesaver. I had been hesitant on buying a new sensor from the dealership but i went ahead and grabbed a sensor and the grommet all for about $48 and was able to get to the bottle from the underside by the tire on the passenger side...I was able to squeeze my way to it. Apparently, it was the floater on my old sensor that had dropped off some mysterious kinda way...Thanks again thermo
