I need assistance with finding the name or part number for this bushing in the photo. i need the one with the red arrows pointing at it.. and it anyone knows where to get it that would be amazing!!

 

My Jag is located in Hot-n-Sticky South Florida. For various reasons, this climate is very hard on plastics and rubber.

Every one of my suspension bushings has given up the ghost. The rubber is deteriorating and disappearing. The liquid filled front suspension bushings have "liberated" their liquid. The metal bushings on the rear lower control arms have worn out. This leads to very poor suspension control, tire wear issues and a general feeling of high speed instability. It's annoying, but reasonably easy to fix. There are great (and reasonably inexpensive) alternatives on ebbbayyyy and online auto parts stores.

To make matters easier, the parts are quite easy to remove and replace for any mechanically inclined person.

While I'm not likely to put any money into my Jag, due to it being my 3rd car. If it's your daily driver, I suggest you replace worn parts. It's not hard, and it's not expensive.

 

Now, I can not say that these will be an exact fit, but look at the bushings for either the S-Type or for the Volvo S40/Mazda 3/Ford Focus SV. I am sure with some measuring, you can find a piece that will work for you. There will be 3 measurements that will be needed to make sure you get a correct part. You need to know the inner diameter (where the bolt goes through, the outer diameter, and then the length of the bushing. You get something that matches those numbers and you are good.
