Yes!!! You probably have a bunch of miles on it and I would do shocks at the same time once you're in there.

My theory is, why get stock, when you can upgrade.

I wish they made a variant 3 for the x type. I'm thinking about looking into some of the coilovers for the focus/mazda3/Volvo cars since there are more variety of them on the market for those cars and they share the x types suspension, I want more adjustability. So in like a year I might have some KW variant 1 coilovers for sale haha.

I have 245/35/19s on 19x9.5 40 offset all around on my car and I had to do a lot of fender rolling, when I say a lot, I mean hours and hours of work. As far as lowering, the rear is not adjustable, but sits nicely. When I installed mine I had the stock 16s and installed the fronts with about an inch worth of threads I could lower, and when I put the 19s on I had to raise it up about another 1/4 inch or so. If you really want to get low with 19s without doing a lot of fender work you might want to look at what exexpat runs on his car. He has like 100 different wheels haha. What width and offset are you planning? that will have a lot to do with needing to roll or not.
