Lotus, as for amount of drop, you will find that all the springs will drop you 1.3", which is the same that you get from a Sport Edition X-Type.

As for ride quality, that is going to depend on the rim size that you are looking to use. You stick with 17" rims, the difference will be very minimal. You jump up to 19's, stand by to feel like you are dragging your butt on the road (ok, over stated, but you get the idea).

As for rubbing issues, no problems there as long as you run the same overall tire size. The trick will be if you get aftermarket rims, you may find that it will lead to an increased chance of rubbing. Again, how big of a tire you go with will have a direct result on the likelihood of rubbing.

I have the Arden springs (comfort edition), and the drop is very nice and the ride is really smooth. If you have after market wheels that are a little wider and a lower offset, you may rub. I had 18x8.5 with a 38 offset and got a lot of rubbing issues to the point where I could not have passengers. the tires i had were 225/40/18's. maybe if you go with a higher offset less/no rubbing isses may be possible.

Yea I have 38mm offset as well and will be switching them for something else. I had 225/45/18s on my 18x8s. Rubbing in front can be mitigated by rolling the fenders, but the rears need to be cut, which can lead to unsightly bumps and rust if done wrong. Stay within 5mm + of oem offset

I have H&R, the ride was good at the began but exactly a year later now and I can tell you I completely have blown through the OEM shocks. Trust me on this, at first the ride is good and it slowly starts to get worse and worse over time. There are three routes to go. Buy the lowering springs now, and matching shocks (bilstein HD), or buy the springs and the shocks later, or buy the KW coilover kit. In the long run its about the same amount if you have the shocks installed at your local garage. Best of luck with your decision.

Lotus16,
If you are interested in the Eibach Pro-Kit, I am selling the set I bought and have left in the box since. Only reason i'm selling is because I was too lazy to install, and I traded my Jag out for a Jeep Commander. Unfortunately I still have the stock wheels, and this spring kit. I paid about 300 for them, and would like to sell for $200obo + shipping. Litterally, these springs have NEVER been removed from the box, and are about a hundred bucks off. Let me know if you're interested. Shoot me a PM

Lotus,
also, seeing you're in PA, depending on where you are located we could meet up. I'm living in Frederick, MD now. this would definitely save money on shipping costs.
