Default Mina gallery grill, bonnet won't close!

Hi everyone.
Finally got the long awaited facelift grill for my X-Type, and it looked amazing.
The old grill was easily removed with four 10mm bolts, and the new one should just be bolted stuck, since it came with a mounting bracket. Problem is, first of all, I could only manage to bolt on the two center bolts. The other two seemed too short to reach the bonnet. Not a big deal, just buying longer 10mm bolts, but the bonnet won't close.
It seems like the new grill is a tad bit taller, and sort of rubs on the front bumper when I try to close it. Anyone else with the same problem?

Have you called Mina yet? Chris has gone out of his way to help me with my needs. I am sure they can help you, whether it is proper installation or replacement if the part just doesn't fit.

Haven't called yet, as I live in Norway.
I've located the problem though, the grill isn't too tall, it's the center bracket that won't allow the spring handle to move far enough.

Anyways, fixed it myself with a mini sander, two new bolts and some good ol' swearing.

Skinny,

It looks GREAT!
I really don't know for sure whether or not to, it seems everyone is going that route and I may put it off (just cos I like to be different) but it DOES LOOK GOOD!!

Ps, has anyone got the sound of your mina/adamesh dual sports exhaust?

I fancy checkin that out?
Nice 1!!! Stu

I'm curious Skinny, what do you mean by Mina/Adamesh? Also, a a 2.1 normally has a single exhaust, did you fit an Y-pipe or something like that?

Stu, Mina Gallery also makes a new kind of grille, middle in the image below.. Ask them for details, if you're interested.

It really does. Blew my mind how much better it looks in person. Pictures don't do justice. The Growler emblem is HUGE, and the car looks up to date. It definetly gets more attention now!

As for the Mina/Adamesh setup, you've both been mistaken. It's a planned upgrade, as in not yet fitted. I am yet to decide if it's going to be a Mina Gallery setup, or Adamesh. I do know the 2.1 only have a single pipe, but it should be room to fit an Y-pipe underneath, and change the rear valance, hence getting to outlets. As for the noise, it will be recorded in 5.1 glory when the time comes.

Ah, right. "Planned modifications", should've read that bit too...

There's a single-to-dual exhaust kit made by Arden, at least:
X Type Adaptor Kit for the 2.0 liter Version - FierceSpeed

Regarding Mina/Adamesh decision, I take it you've checked the recordings I made (had both)?
