MP3/Aux in connection for X type?
Hello,
I'm just wondering if it's possible to install a Aux in connection on the X Type? On the X308 XJ8 I had before, we worked out it's possible to hack into the CD changer line and install a connection there, but am unsure if the X Type would be the same? I have the Screen system fitted to my car, and the CD player in the dash. The isn't a changer in the boot, but the connections are there.
Thanks Chaps,
Stu.

I was considering the Parrot MKi9000 but found out that it would leave steering wheel volume control unusable (and the Unika kit does not support pre-facelift steering wheel), so now I'm out of ideas. The ACM is filthy expensive considering how limited it is in comparison to the Parrot since the Parrot brings bluetooth handsfree functionality as well...
There are several threads about this I think. I also have the big display but also a cassette player, so I'm currently using an cassette adapter.

I've just looked on ebay and can see that the cassette unit isn't too expensive, so could possibly buy one and retro fit it. I'm not too keen on the notion of installing a handsfree kit as it already has the Jaguar Bluetooth system which works very well.
I'll check out the other posts anyway and see what I can find.
