Noticed a multipin eletrical connection in the boot well the other day. It is not connected to anything and am curious as to what it is for. Clearly not need on my spec. but some model must use it?

There is a multiplug in the spare wheel well that connects into a black box on the LH side wall.
If its this one it will have either 26 or 40? odd pins depending on year, its for the reverse park aid as the black box is the reverse park module.

that makes sense, as I have an aftermarket rear park assit.

 

I'll have to look at mine and check it out....never noticed anything but the beautiful aguilla rim and brand new continental on the spare in my trunk!
