My '02 Jag X-Type
So my '02 x-type was given to me as a gift by my family after my newly licensed sister totaled my 89 subaru legacy. I loved that subaru but i was still excited to get this jag because c'mon who doesn't love a jag right... I took excellent care of my subaru and it was an amazing car it never gave me any issues; but with this jaguar, its just one thing after another im constantly repairing. From the gas tank door not opening to the hood cable snapping to the water pump leaking to the cracking leather seat. I wish my family had done their home work before purchasing this car.

My X-Type has been nearly flawless in the time that i have owned it. Now, I will admit that I have done a complete brake job (new rotors and pads), but I figured with 100K on the clock, it was about time for something like that. The only "out of the ordinary" repair that I have done is replace both of the back calipers (one paid for by the place i bought the car from, the other I did). But, that was an easy repair. The rest of the stuff I have done has all been normal maintenance stuff. sorry to hear that you are having such issues with your car.
