Default My first Project - FM Modulator - 2005 X Type

Before I even bought the car I was looking into how I could install an Aux input. I was on the verge of installing a new head unit but I am getting married soon so I need to save the extra green. I decided to go with an FM modulator. The install was clean and I am very pleased with the sound quality. I have the Alpine system in my 2005 so that helps. Only cost me $120 for the set up. Very easy to install. If anyone wants details on the install or what items I used I'd be happy to explain further. Here are some pics of the finished install.

Nice. Did it connect to the back of the radio? Where did you find the live feed to charge the iPod?

I'm going through the dramas of trying to source an ACM at the moment, but that looks like a nice install.

If you don't mind, can you expand a bit on what's involved, equipment etc?

Many thanks,

Rob
