Well I wasnt talking about coilovers, but they KW V1's wouldnt be my first choice if there were others, not to mention no camber plates. Im talking wheel setup, I havent seen a single fitment that I have been happy with. And for me, to find that fitment is going to cost some good money because you wont catch me with 40+ offsets using spacers. Im shooting for 9 and 10's with proper offsets.

You'll need 35mm offset (trust me, I have done 9/10 on this car) and a rear tire no wider than a 245 on the 10. You can do 19x9 ET35 with a 235 up front. It can be done easily, just order up the custom wheels or have Lenny at Motorsport Tech redrill a set that were built for Mercedes/Audi 5x112. You don't even need to spend that much money to be honest.

Yeah trust me I emailed back and forth with KW a million times trying to convince them to make me a set of V2s, but there just isnt enough of a market for them to want to make them for this car.

Cheap wheels will always have crappy fitment... That's why they are cheap. Proper fitment will either come from something custom (HRE, Works, etc) or from OEMs off another car.

I just cant bring myself to spend $5k+ on wheels and tires for a car that probably wouldnt even be worth $12k if I wanted to sell it tomorrow.

Nice, that sounds decent, I would like to run a fatter tire though, like a 245 front, and 265 rear maybe. But yeah, my first set of wheels might just have to be a redrill because I also cant justify spending that much on wheels.

Uhhhhhh 265 in the rear? Good luck with that buddy... I really hope you pull it off but I doubt its going to happen without some serious fender/body work.

I plan on doing the typical roll for clearance, but my biggest plan is to modify the arms like what Bonspeed did on their SEMA car. He had brand new arms made out of billet, but I talked to my fab guy and he said it would be no problem to just modify them to create more room.

How much is he going to charge you to build the arms out of curiosity?

I don't mean to interrupt in the above conversation, but those stretched tires on that volvo look sweet.

Im not sure yet, I just took it over there for him to check it out to see if it was possible at first, and he said yeah no problem, just bring him the wheel I wanted to fit on there and he will make the modifications then. But I dont think they will be completely new arms, only modified to eliminate the wall that the inner side of the wheel/tire runs into.

The leaper on the bonnet also looks cool. I wish we could have them here in the UK.
