Hey J., the only thing is (to me) the fm modulator. You're gonna be pissed with today just being candid. The post I put up with Veff's box (right before your post) is the way to go. Takes all of 10-20 mins to install into the fibre optic loop etc. CD QUALITY SOUND LITERALLY because it's going thru the system...

You paid a bit much for the CVBS converter (HDMI TO AV) You coulda got that for about $10. & honestly, having the Android box sorta makes a DVD PLAYER null and void, because if it's set up correctly, EVERYTHING would be on your box. I took my Blu-ray player out of my Range Rover Sport & replaced it with an Android box bc I have it programmed with KODI, MOVIE HD, FLIXSTER & more, so there was NO need for the DVD player. My phone is my Wi-Fi hotspot...

Other than that, I think you're good...

Thanks, good call on DVD Rom, must of been in a green haze but I will return it and get a couple more things. Do you know how to illuminate the Jaguar name on trunk?

Placed order request for BT device from link....I knew you were right but I did not have patience and ordered next day FM Mod but I will use that until the BT mod is shipped.

Hi Dennis, how does one connect the sat nav wiring loom from the boot to the cabin control unit and the front sat nav head unit? I know how to connect the fibre optics and GPS antenna, but don't know the others including converting the manual dial heater to digital heater.

Hi, Everyone, love this thread, my install even gets a mention along the way, which is cool! My query is that the navtool video interface gets a lot of mention in this thread and I used a much cheaper unit from the Ukrainian company - Car-Solutions. The Navtool list price is $400 reduced to $200 whereas the Car Solutions unit is $140 or £101 for us in UK, and it does the same job, just sayin!!! Universal RGB Video Interface. Car Multimedia Adapter

My install -

I'd have to agree here, as I too used the same interface, & reason being is because the price is MUCH better AND it has 1 more input than the Navtool, & the install process is the same...

This was the answer I was looking for.
So without the DVD player it simply won't function? That makes sense.

If yes.. how does the connection go just to complete my study:

I bought the same button above, does the separate yellow and gray wire from nav tool get connected to yellow + and gray - to push button?

How did you install the button to console? What drill bit or tool used?
