Yeah, I drilled that hole and got it installed, just not sure wiring. I think the positive is the yellow wire from nav tool but ground is the issue. Do I run the ground to chasis, or to the gray E-break wire which is met for ground and required for screen activation but I have bypassed the e-break wire because want screen to stay on. Thanks for the info.

Dennis,
I have an 07 x-type wagon with nav and cd player. I want to solder line input like you, but I cannot see with enough clarity in any of your pics what the exact points are on the pcb and what wires are soldered where. Can you upload a more detail photo? Or just label this photo. Thank you and good work.

Jaguar S type retrofit...
Hello all I'm new here, actually I have done something similar to my 2000 Jaguar S Type but instead I went with a larger display... 10.1 inches to be exact... It came with no navigation but now has great 3D maps, kodi, tunes of local and internet radio, wifi enabled, tv, front and rear camera, siriusxm, and many more I also changed my stock gauge cluster to a virtual gauge cluster with the ability to see my navigation among my Virtual Gauges as well as my music selection and play status... Also voice command control I will eventually post my videos you may also go to my YouTube page and view a few of my early progress videos.... Thanks

Denis Black! I'm looking for another X-Type or XJ, some of them had Nav. with touch screen, it's a nice feature but I have read that once the Jag. touch screen went out you lost control other features such as climate control, you have to replace with OEM unit and that's very expensive and that keep me hesitate to get a car with touch screen. How do you go about this issue to prevent the touch screen from went out or how to keep the other control features if it does went out? Is replace with after market work better and last longer? I (am an old scoot) don't need a fancy feature, just Nav. and the original control features, are there any plug and play unit after market Thanks
