Default My Xtype 2.2 rear suspension seems very weak

Rear end drops with little extra weight, are there any stronger springs available that I could fit

924stag, simply getting new springs should stiffen up the rear end. Over time, springs loose their strength and will become weaker. This will result in the rear end sagging more easily. They do make heavy duty springs for the car. But, not sure you would want those unless you drive around a lot with the car loaded down with stuff.

Hi do you know if they make the heavy duty springs for the estate ...I've been looking for some ... I fitted some on my old Rover 75 estate and it greatly improved the handling when loaded up.

The springs for the estate and non-estate should be the same. so, if you can find some for a normal x-type, they will fit on your car.
