NE Ohio Jag owners / mechanics
Hello all,
I recently bought my 2nd jaguar, 2005 X type 3.0. Years ago I had a 1970 XJ12. I have been changing my own oil on this car and am capable to do any and all repairs as needed on this car. I don't always want to do all the work myself and this car is my daily driver. For more difficult repairs, diagnostics, etc. and time consuming jobs I am curious if anyone has favorite mechanics in my area, or any moonlighters etc.
Thanks

I do not know how is it in Ohio, but in Northern California sometimes dealerships do works cheaper and faster than local auto shops. + 1 year warranty. So, do not forget to check their prices for repairs and etc.
I use the shop at the top of my street for anything I don't do myself on both our rides. It's just the owner and 1 tech in a 2 lift garage, but the rates are good and the work is always done right.
If you're in the heights area, I'd recommend checking out Hollis automotive or the Lusty Wrench.
You may want to call Welsh Jaguar though in Steubenville. They're heavily involved in the regional Jaguar club, so my guess is between that and being a parts dealer they'd be your best bet for recommendations.
