If anyone has a fan control module for a 2003 X-type I would be interested in purchasing it. I took a look and it looks fairly straight forward to install it.

It's relatively simple to replace. The smaller your hands are the easier it will be. It's a tight squeeze to get to the wiring harness on the passenger side fan but I did it so it can be done.
A couple of years ago I bought a complete fan assembly for a 2004 that included the control module for $100 and only used the control module since that was all I needed at the time.
