Changed out the vanity bulbs to LED. This is not as easy as it sounds as the diameter of the stock bulbs do not match ANY bulbs ANYWHERE that I could find. I tried some larger diameter ones that had a "flat" light diode surface between the contact mounting ends. The problem is even the smallest I could find when you reinstall the cover, it presses the contacts into the "heat shield, reflective" strip in the back and blows the fuse.
I finally found a set that were still larger than stock but smaller than any on the web. I cut small strips of electrical tape and wrapped the metal contact ends to insulate against an inadvertent contact with the back strip. Installed the cover and VOILA, LED lights in 6,000k to match the rest of my car.

Tons of 36mm length, the problem is diameter. They need to be 6.5mm. I no longer have the number nor site I found them on/from, soz. I know it took WAY a long time to research them. You'd think a Google search of 36mmX6.5mm festoon led bulbs would do the trick, but it wasn't that simple.

Oh it takes a festoon? I thought all jaguars were pretty much the same. For the car I’m looking for (12 XJ), it takes a really small T5 style bulb. Sorry, I shoulda done more research. Lol thanks for the help anyways.
Well, I ordered some led t5 bulbs that I thought would work. And they do. They’re the perfect size, color, and width. I tested fitted one and it worked, while trying the second one I accidentally touched the bulb with the shield in the back which caused it to blow a fuse lol. So I will be switching the fuse and replacing all of them. Thank you for your efforts. I will post some pics by tonight hopefully.
