Whas up guys. I’m getting ready to remove my old pitted Leaper hood ornament. And install a new one. Is there a torque spec when tightening down the new Leaper ? Or should I just tighten the plastic nut until it’s snug ? I don’t wanna damage my hood. Thx.

 

NO torque spec on that plastic nut. Get it snug and let it be.

I keep an old socket in the trunk to remove my "kitty" when I am parking in the not-so-good part of town. Always hand tight.
