Default Nice new upgrade for summer....

Lloyd's Luxe floor mats....
These are so thick the noise lowered in the cabin! The fitment is the best I've ever found. My GG Bailey floormats don't even come CLOSE to the quality of Lloyd's. Even the floor hooks fit tighter than OEM.

+1 for Lloyds. I ordered some (normal ones) when I bought my car. Perfect fit, and nicer quality than OEM.

The only thing that sucked is that I wanted "Shaguar" embroidered on the mats, and they wouldn't let me. :-)

I <3 Lloyds also. I've always preferred them to OEM. Kokos aren't bad either.

Koko? I'll check them out. I just still can't get over how THICK these are! The 'Luxe' mats definitely are not just marketing hype.

Believe it or not, I can't get thick floor mats, I'm too tall and I need every square inch of leg room I can get. But I saw on fleabay some oem type replacements in a charcoal I might consider, just to contrast the black a bit.

At 5'8" I have PLENTY of room to spare!!!! lol

The custom brackets that were created for my racing seats in my old 2002 x-type looked pretty hilarious, I needed an extra 5-6" to raise the racing seat on my side so I could see over the dash! It's a tall-man's world.....

I have always had the opposite issue, I can just fit in the X with 1/2" above my head. I've had lots of cars that I had to saw off the stock seat brackets and weld something that put the seat almost on the floor. I used to have a succession of TR7s and had to reposition the seat all the way to the back literally up against the body wall. I used to drag race when I was younger, I had a Comet that I sat almost in the back seat. Longer shift linkage etc.

Much nicer mats than my Advance Auto I bought. I have the same prob. sidewalk man. I test drove the F430 when i bought my XType and the top of my head was about 3in over the top of the windsheild frame.
