Hoping someone can set me in the right direction here.

Just recently the CD player (6 disc CDC) refused to play and displayed the message - "CDC NO DISC". shortly afterwards I noticed that there was also "NO FM". Both MW and LW appeared to be working but I couldn't find any stations to tune in to. ( not sure if there are any round here anymore)

I read the thread suggesting empty the CD cartridge and then reload it. There is power to the CDC and the casssette ejects and loads without problem. Slight change then that the error message changed to "CD1 NO DISC". I could even get it to change to disc 2 - "CD2 NO DISC" but then it hung.

Also now the MW mode gives "NO MW".Strangely the cassette tape player is working 100%. (took me hours to find an actual tape).

Any ideas ?

Would a replacement CDC help? - Would that cure the FM/MW problem.?
