Default No reverse after cooler line busted.

I bought a 2003 x-type with 85k on it with a busted trans cooler line. The seller said everything worked perfect before the line blew. I replaced the line and drained all the old fluid out from the cooler line. Filled the trans up with castrol multi import which is fine. All of the foward gears work perfectly, but reverse just slips. I know this has happened to other people but I've never seen a fix. The trans isn't low on fluid just to make sure its kinda overfilled.

There was a "No Reverse" thread here the other day. Here's the long and short of it:

I'd check to see if the damage to the cooler line wasn't done on purpose to sidestep attention away from the larger problem. Hope you got a damn good deal on the car, it might offset the cost of a potential rebuild.
