odd misfire

odd misfire
so a month or so ago i had replaced my plugs and coils.
A week or so later i get a cyl 4 misfire...pending code, when under a heavy load, say up a steep hill.
So i replace that coil and all is good for another week or so and i then i start getting the flashing engine light when going up a hill, so i check for pending codes and again there is a cylinder 4 misfire.
Today i put on another coil and will see how it goes this week.
If not the coil, what else could be causing a misfire under heavy load only?... bad spark plug?

I'd like to know if anyone has installed Pulstar plugs in their X. Found it's recommendation on autoanything specifically for Jaguar X type. A bit spendy @ $18 each.
