Oil change procedure and type of oil
Doing a brake job this weekend, putting on some drilled and slotted rotors with new pads- gonna be awesome!
Figured I might as well change the oil sinceshe will already be up on stands and it is about time. I have changed the oil on other cars before, I can't imagine the Jagwould be too difficult. Any quirks with the job?
She's got 75K on her, should I use Mobil 1 fully synthetic in her old age?
How many quarts go in after I drain the old oil?
Thanks guys

Click on which oil should I use and fill in deatils of your car.
Personally only use GTX Magnetec 5W-30 as used by most dealers here in UK.

RE: Oil change procedure and type of oil
in the manual it says they need 6.1 quarts. i checked this cos the dealer charged me for 7 quarts when i got a synthetic oil change. they charged me $10 bux a quart for mobile 1, what a ripoff. after a lady that worked there sed that i cud take my own oil, so id only have to pay for the filter and the labor
