Each item (Sat Nav, Voice, CD Changer etc) has an optical plug socket with an INPUT and an OUTPUT. The car has 2 optical cables running from behind the glovebox to the rear of the car. If you just have 1 item fitted the optical lead just plugs in and the loop is closed. If you have 2 items then they need linking so that from the vehicle one optical cable enters the first item then the output cable comes from the first item and into the second item with the output from the second item then joining the vehicles other optical cable to return to the front of the car. If you have a cable that is meant for 2 items and you only have one item fitted then you can adapt it to make a lead with 2 optical cables which closes the loop in the item or you can get another optical cable and carefully bend it round to join both cables on one socket to close the loop. Attached is a picture of a single item lead.

If you have nothing working from the fibre optics you may have to have a dealer plug in their computer to tell the vehicle to activate the optic system.
Have a look at these How To guides from the UK forum.

Voice should be a straight forward bolt in unit and plug into fibre optics and power. Not sure which wiring is for voice module but should be apparent when you have the module as the plugs/sockets seem unique for each item.
