Over Fill or Level Plug on a Auto Trans, Where is it?
"h20boy" told me to repost this in the x-type section..
" Help Jag Tech's ": what side of the tranny is it?? (automatic transmission fluid level/overflow tube plug) not asking about the fill plug as i do know its under the battery.

but i still cant make it out on the picture they have there.

X-type level plug
I assume you've located the fill plug above the tcm unit? The level plug is actally on the underside of the gearbox, it's a 13mm head plug, located right beside the cover/bracket for the cable adjuster. When looking from the rear of the assembly, if i remember right, it's just to the right of the black bracket. There's a tube inside the box where the plug goes in. When the box is at right temp (around 30degrees c) the tube should be removed and fluid drained to a slow trickle. If poss, replace sealing washer
