Yes your right, I've come to the same point. Looking in some of the information that Gus sent me, they both kind of stay in the reader. i've even tryied disconnecting the battery for about ten minutes, just like resetting your cell phone or computer. When I checked it with the reader It came back as P1111. I ran it all day Christmas shopping and the light never came on, when I got home I thought I'd check it with the reader, and it was still there, I tryied taking it out and it was still there. The DTC codes read: "P1000 is flagged after DTCs have been cleared, all engine management OBD dianostic monitor drive cycles HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLETED. Then P1111 is flagged after DTCs have been cleared, all engine management OBD dianostic monitor drive cycles HAVE BEEN COMPLETED. So as far as the on-line book that I recieved from Gus, said on page three, I should be OK. But all I really did was disconnect the battery and did a little cleanning around the IMTs.

As Bob is trying to explain, P1111 is a good thing. Leave it. Hopefully the lean codes don't come back but the vacuum leaks tend to show up in the colder weather so you may get a re-occurrence if you haven't actually changed the o-rings.

Ya, but I'm showing P1000. Does that clear itself too?

You need not be concerned about P1000 or P1111 all other codes we will try to help. Pretend that they do not exist.

Ok there gone, I know there still in the reader, but my cat is running just like she use to and no problems, a little less on the gas mileage, but...... Until something else show up or it loads those codes again, I'm good. I'll get the new o=rings and I want to change the rear plugs, so I'll get the gasket and from there I'll be good...

Sidewalkman, I think you hit it right on nail, all the stuff I have read here with other peoples problems, although everyone of them have made a good point or there own problem, your reply was the best. It made me get back into the fact that if you do to much it's like peeing in the wind......LOL
