Default P1000 code

Just a short question, after replacing o2 sensors and clearing the codes from the ECM how long does it take to complete the system test and that P1000 code clears?

Your motor car is made to be driven, N'joy the ride.

Smith, to get the P1000 code to clear can take 30 KM, it can take 1000KM to clear. The best advice that I can say is to take the car for a drive through the country (where you have moments up at speed, but also moments where you are going slow/stopping) and have the gas tank between 1/4 and 3/4. Hopefully after about 50KM, you should be set.

In short, the ECU is looking for the motor to be at certain RPMs for a certain amount of time so it can perform all the needed checks. There is no "if you do this, all will be good" routine that anyone has found/figured out. The best thing is to simply drive at a lot of different speeds for a period of time.
