You will always get either:

P1000: OnBoard Monitoring Tests not completed since last memory clear
OR
P1111: OnBoard Monitoring Tests completed

As you complete the required drive cycles, the P1000 will be replaced with P1111.

With the CEL showing, I'd expect to see other Pxxxx codes stored or pending ........

So what's the correct drive cycle to get these test to complete?

See codes PDF in JTIS as it details it.

However, faults can prevent getting as far as P1111 and occasionally can even prevent codes being flagged.

What codes did you have before you cleared them (thus leading to P1000)?

Not sure.. When I bought it I had to call jag for the correct pin number BC the stereo was locked.. A shop scanned it for me and NO codes came up even with the light on. So he shut the light off only for it to come back on. I bought a bluepoint scanner and that's kinda where I'm at now.. I tried the drive cycles this morning but they are all still Not Ready except OH..

MIL should be off if no codes (P1000 isn't a fault code, nor is P1111). If it's on, you have codes. Maybe an OBD tool playing up.

With no codes, MIL should self-test at ign on and then stay off.

The P1000 / P1111 is not the main issue here.

When the MIL is illuminated, there should be other code(s) which will indicate the underlying fault. If your code reader isn't showing any, you need to get connected to a scantool known to interface with your X-Type.

Someone on here posted that the memoscan was a good scanner for xtype.. I picked one up online so I will wait for it to come in.. Also the abs light is on and say DSC system failure.. Although the scanner will read abs it says the car won't support it.. Could that have something to do with the CEL? Also thanks for all of your help!!!

Update: I borrowed a friends snap on global scanner and viewed the live engine data... All monitors are ready except "c" and "o" still... But bank 1 sensors were going crazy with reads.. They were as low as -1500s to + 1500s.. Could these two be the culprits? And if so is there an inexpensive sensor to replace them?

Stop. Read the codes. If you have the MIL on then you DO have codes. Ignore the monitors until after that. Don't swap parts.
