Hello all. I just have a question maybe someone can answer for me

02 3.0 (US) LHD and I have code P1646 and I believe that to be related to the bank 1 downstream sensor.

on rockauto they only have one sensor listed as being wideband and it is for upstream and has a gray plug as the rest of their upstream sensors have gray plugs. My car however has the sensor with the gray plug going to the downstream location

is it possible that mine has been swapped sometime in the past and the one with the gray supposed to go upstream and the black plug goes to downstream. The one that has the gray plug is currently going to the one that is closest to the brake booster

 

P1646 is the right bank upstream sensor not the down stream
