Default Parcel shelf speaker wiring??

I have a 2003 jaguar x-type with non-premium audio system, 4 door speakers. I recently changed all my door speakers and I went to add two to the rear parcel shelf where the alpine sub box would be if I had the premium system and I could not find any wiring.
Does anyone know where the wires are located and which are neg & pos?

Did you find the wires for the parcel shelf subwoofer.
I've got the subwoofer to fit and would like to know where I might find the connection I'm hoping its tucked away in the boot somewhere any one know where?

Gadge, I think you will find that if you didn't get the premium sound package, the wires do not exist. There is a different wiring harness for the premium sound system. So, you would have to run your own wires from the dash back to the subwoofers. Do not forget about the external amp that comes with the subwoofers too.

I was looking on one of the x type breakers sites and they are selling the premium sound upgrade ie speakers, tweeters and rear shelf subwoofer with the built in amp and the ad stated it was plug and play as all the wires are in the car. With that I assumed they meant the wires for the rear shelf amp and sub would be there too...hahaha just my look

I'm in the process of doing the same. If anyone has any pointers on how to wire in the mini sub box without the original connectors I'd be grateful.

Or at least where it attaches behind the dash?

Thanks
