Can anyone tell me is there a way to go from park to neutral?? There is something wrong with my car and it needs to be towed to the shop:however, I cannot find an emergeny release so the car can be towed. Of course I tried stepping on the brake to release the relay but nothing happens.
Check the fuses too...all good.
Now what??

By the way the car does not start or run.
Battery is fully charged too.
So how can I position the shifter to neutral so it can be loaded on a truck??

 

i found this on the forum which may be of help - "Ha I bypassed the mechanism...seems theres like a plastic nipple on the actuator that unlocks it. I just opened up the J gate and manual pushed back the plastic lock piece. The only bad this is that now i have to be careful not to pull the lever accidentally. That is All! "
