Default Passenger Airbag Indicator

Hi all,

I have a 2006 X-Type 2.0D which I recently bought. I noticed that whenever I have a passenger on board the airbag indicator on the dashboard intermittently flahses sometimes although I mainly remains off. The manual says that the indicator would remain off if the seat is occupied correct?

Would really appreciate some feedback )

thanks!

It is weight dependant.

So for instance if you put a child seat there it will sense something not heavy enough and turn itself off

Thanks. I had a passenger that weighed some 55kg when this was happening. Should I not worry about this then or...?

thanks again!

If you check the owners manual I think it gives the info in there.

Try it with a heavier person and see what happens
