Savage, if you look up parts for the Ford Duratec 3.0L motor, they should almost all work for you other than things associated with the heads. Even then, you may be able to use them. The Jag uses VVT where some of the Ford models do not. But, the crank, pistons, etc are pretty generic between the two.
Now, with that being said, if you are looking to build up the motor, what are your plans for the transfer case. It is our experience that putting more than stock power through the transfer case results in a short life of the transfer case. I would hate to see you spend lots of money on the motor just to not be able to keep the car on the road due to blowing up $3000 transfer cases.

There is another problem with adding things like cams and pistons or a turbo, finding a way to tune the ECU. I have only seen a few places, mostly in the UK, that offer tuning for x types. There is always stand alone systems, but then getting all the jag gauges and whatnot to work with them could end up being a nightmare.
That being said, there are turbo kits for duratec v6s, and 400hp out of a boosted 3.0 has been done in the contour/cougar world, but they don't have a transfer case or jag ECU to deal with.

And because the exhaust manifolds have the cats built into them they are even more restrictive. Headers would free up some decent power. I have a set, for a ford contour, but I have not installed them yet since I'm worried about throwing codes since I'd be deleting the cats by installing them. That and the install would mean my car would be down for longer than I'd like for now. I probably wont install them until I get a 3.0 to replace my 2.5.
