Anyone got a black car with black wheels? Ive got the coventry wheels coming black with polished lip. Im going to paint my calipers when I swap em. Im just wondering if I should go red or black. My car is the sport all back with tinted windows.

Also where can I get some caliper decals?

Nice car.

Black - unless you have Brembos or something it isn't worth drawing undue attention to single piston OE calipers.

To complete the insanely popular murdered-out look, I think you should darken your lights also.

 

yea thought about blacking the rear and sides out. What to use for that?

 

nice car, that was my original plan. YOu can use vht nightshades, vinyl as well and its also less permanent.

 

If you do use niteshades I recommend a few coats of clear coat as well.

 

My calipers are red and it doesn't look horrible. I've got a black car and will soon have black 18s

 

Personally, I'd go red as it would provide a balancing contrast to all black, which in turn highlights the red rear side lights and to a lesser extent the amber fronts.

It all comes down to what you like, its your ride, you choose the look that suits you.

Also- I really like your rims. I was thinking of murdering mine but I think I'm sticking with silver. If I did go black, my model look would be Jaaag's official "Black Pack" rather than just winging it and ending up looking like a ricer. Just my opinion.

But- they don't carry the ones that fit the x type anymore. I've emailed them to ask if I can still get them (I'm redoing my rear ones) and I'll let you know what they say.
