Default A pillar removal

The fabric is coming off of the front drivers a pillar and needs to be replied. Is there a specific way to remove it, or do I just grab hold of it and yank?

first remove the rubber from around the door that actually is what is holding the A pillar on, then grab and pull

NOTE: The A-pillar trim panel is secured to the top of the Apillar
by a retaining strap. The retaining strap must be
detached from the A-pillar before the A-pillar trim panel is
removed.

then some 3M fabric spray adhesive hold with masking tape until set and you will be good to go.

When pulling on the a pillar, pull it towards the rear view mirror, not towards the drivers seat. The clips are angled and will come off easier if you pull in the right direction.

Does anyone know where to get a replacement trim fastener (the one with the strap) my passenger side one broke off the end that goes into the A-pillar during removal. My Jag dealer told me it only comes with the trim piece and is not available as a stand alone part. They have to be kidding, right?

Sadly, even in the list you provided, the clip isn't listed as a stand alone part. Just the whole component. But thanks anyway.

Yes, that was the point, not just the dealer telling you it was buy the whole thing.
