Tried searching the forum for maybe a video showing the proper start up on an X-Type. Just to know on the gauges which lights should turn off and stay on. Engine light flashing etc. POST (Power-On Self Test) start-up.

A video would be appreciated. I am trying to see how POST works in a functioning vehicle to chase down more issues on my vehicle since it has a P1638 that won't go away.

 

Instead, follow the Jaguar doc about what to do about that code.
