Default powerfold side mirror

I have 2004 x. I want to have powerfold side mirror. Is it possible to do it?
then where can I buy that parts? Is 2009 x-type mirror fitable? but I don't want to go for 2009. I want to keep current style of mirror...

I have never heard of this on an X-Type... or any Jag for that reason. IMO I would not spend the money (and it will be a lot) to mood the mirrors. Sorry I could not be more help.

Some Jaguars clearly have powerfold mirrors (it says so in the owner's manual) and it would be a cool feature to have but like jvegas said, I've never seen an X-Type with it and considering the working involved, it would probably quite costly.

It's described in the owners manual, but it's unclear what markets have the powerfold mirrors and what markets don't. I don't think it's based on the spec of the car that you buy - I have a loaded 2005 3.0 and it doesn't have powerfold mirrors.

In response to the original poster's question, I suppose you can get the parts from Jaguar, or a salvage yard if you can figure out which markets offered this feature. I'm not sure what would be involved in wiring them up, but it looks like you'd have to swap out the mirror housings and the mirror switch on the driver's door panel.

I'm from Canada....but I am planing to go to korea. The most of korean car (domestic & import) have that feature.(autofolding). I used to live there and I found that autofolding is very comfort in korea. Cuz, there are lots of parking tower and when you park your car in, they recomand fold it. I think it is like car elevator so....it need to be.
anyways, I am considering whether I bring my car or not.
oh, it is off the topic but how to remove 'day runing light'? is it just fix with fuse? or a lot of work??

the daytime running light is the switch. I think you have to replace it.
