Today, the car was driving fine, then all of a sudden there was this huge vibration. There was a clicking noise while the car was moving. At first, it sounded like a scraping noise (as if the gears were scraping), but you could feel the scraping through the gas pedal.

Pulled over, and looked at the car. No leaks, everything seemed fine. Made a few circles around the parking lot and the noise goes away.

Pulled back out driving like normal. I go about 1000 feet or so after changing to 2nd gear, then as I go to 3rd, the vibration comes back. It goes away when changing gears, then it starts again after I change gears then let the clutch out.

As of right now, I can't move the car because the car won't move. I'm taking it back to the tranny place who installed the clutch on the 26th. Til then, any ideas?

 

(Disclaimer: This is just an idea) The throw-out bearing was not pressed into place and it popped out of its' holder.

Damn did it vibrate more on turns. Axles do vibrate on turns if its a bad axle. Good luck man. I am kinda scared of having my jag with hearing all these problems lol.
