Default Question

What’s up guys. I have a loose edge of the chrome trim on my rear bumper. Might be missing the clip that attaches it. My question is can I access the edge of the trim through the rear wheel splash shield ? I wouldn’t need to remove the entire trim piece. Just try to secure it a little tighter. Thx for any info. I’m attaching a picture to show what I’m talking about.

Okay, now I've seen some photos of vegaskid's car, I have changed my mind. My model must be a cheaper version. The chrome part is plastic on my car and doesn't have the light/reflector part on it. It is called a Blade - Bumper and is reasonably priced (new). To replace it the rear bumper has to come off. Yours may be steel?

NYCJAG, you should be able to loosen the bolts holding the wheel liner to the bumper cover and then I want to say that there is a bolt just above the seem that is helping lock the bumper cover in place. That will need to be removed. This wll then allow the edge of the bumper cover to move around and that should give you enough room to reach in and do the edge holder. If you are getting in near the corner, then more and more of the bumper cover will need to be loosened to give you access.
