Anyone here know if the ashtray fitted to an X type is the same fit and size as the ones fitted to an S type??
Ebay has a few X Type ones, but seem to be a lot of money? The S Type ones are more plentiful and generally cheaper?
I'm thinking of a project involving fitting a sat nav unit where the ashtray is located on an X Type, but using the cover to hide it when not in use. Want an old X Type ashtray as a guinea pig to cut and modify to see if teh project is viable.
