Question about inner front tire wear.
So after doing some research on here.. my two front tires have a 1 inch inner wear pattern, exactly the same on both front tires..
From what I read it's a camber problem, and no way to adjust.
If my findings are correct. Could someone point me to links to replace the bushings that will fix the issue.. assume replacing new bushings will. ? I just heard about it.
What type of bushings are needed, top, front and front rear. ?
Etc
Any links and advice would be helpful .. I dont have the money atm to add camber.. working on other projects.
Thanks guys.
Jayson
Update.. I just read a guy on here had the same issue and he replaced the front struts, strut mount and bearings? ?
So it's not a control arm issue?
Gah.. advice.
Now I just read it could be a toe.. issue.. I'm about to flip any advice

Inner-Edge Tread Wear
Inner-edge tire tread wear is the most common tread wear problem most technicians see. The angles causing this type of wear are typically negative toe and camber. For parts, there are three component sources of the inner-edge tread wear: bushings, springs and loads.

Thanks.
I think I will get an alignment first, start with that toe issue, from what I read toe can cause this inner tire wear.. my first set of tires didnt do this I noticed my car slightly drifts to the right so I gotta keep the steering wheel slightly left, say 11:57 if 12oclock was straight up.
If toe doesnt fix the issue I will buy new bushings, also someone said struts but I mean the car only has like 50k miles now and I keep it in cherry condition.
I'm afraid I'll end up changing all, bushings, struts, bearings, etc to try to fix this.. sigh
Dont know what happen.
Hey, Dell..
Question... the info on this page says this corrects camber and caster ... would this work for the front end of the jag ?
Also do they make some eccentric bolt kit for the front end ?

Well corrects as best a set manufactured piece can, lol. I replaced mine (see thread post of problems). If you look at the above link, they make a camber adjustment bushing that you can press out the original and press replacement into the rear bushing (towards rear of car) on that arm (& again install the bolt with nut on top to eliminate ever having to drop the subframe in the future). It's the only after market camber adjustment I've ever seen for an X. Some threads say people have taken the drastic step of elongation of mounting holes, etc. That is again DRASTIC in my opinion but given if that's the only way to get a fix, then...
Occasionally, I've seen some folks have done a complete subframe realignment which is again very involved and gotten some relief.
And when getting a 4 wheel alignment, heed Jag Tech member "Brutal" advice to ask for and watch that they align the rear first and then the front. I can ABSOLUTELY attest to this. When I replaced those arms you posted (& drop links), I had alignment done. 8,000 miles later, front tires completely worn through on the inside through the cords. Took it back and shop said I had to of "hit something or pothole damage or something" because it was so far out of alignment, LMFAO!! I baby my kitty. Told them I didn't know about rear first and front last alignment and had watched the tech align my car. He did front first and rear last first time. I had bought new tires and they nicely realigned it at no charge.
