So I have a 2010 X-Type, 2.2D, and it doesn't have the rear bumper valance. I've added some photos below.
I've been trying to find part numbers and I've come up with 2 so far: C2S49263 C2S18803 but I'm not sure which is which, maybe one is for the petrol version with the double exhaust? And I think there's another part number for the estate model, or maybe the above part numbers are for the pre-facelift model. I just don't know. And some have parking sensors, some are cheap. like £30-50 and some can be really expensive, like £200. It's all a bit confusing!
The part sites I've looked at don't list which parts fit which bumpers, or models, etc.
Can anybody clarify any of this?
Or do all the valances fit _all_ the models, estate, pre-2007, petrol, diesel, etc? Or what's the story?

And if I did pick one up with parking sensors on it, is it just plug and play? Or would I need to get the ECU rewritten? I'm not really bothered about parking sensors, just curious.

Nice one man, much appreciated..
My install of JEPC is kind of messed up and doesn't show images, so I usually forget that it even exists!
But I assume it's part no. 3 from the second image I'm looking for (C2S49263) since it looks like my car was probably one of the last ones made, J60927. And it matches with that image, with the little reflectors at the sides instead of the trim at the edges, etc.

 

JEPC images are displayed with FlashPlayer which Adobe withdrew earlier this year. Microsoft then deliberately included an irreversible Flash Player uninstall in a Windows 10 update. The only way to run JEPC now is in Windows XP, Windows 7 or Windows 8. I have it installed in an Oracle Virtual Machine with Windows 7 Ultimate on my Windows 10 Pro PC. That's where the images in post #2 were taken.
