Rear driveshaft question.
Sandy, will the car move. Sure will. Is this something that I would recommend doing for a long drive. now way in hell. I say this for a number of reasons. The big thing being that your transfer case is not meant to take all the power to a single wheel (which is what is going to happen in this case. The case is going to flex and most likely result in it failing. Also, there is not much fluid in the cases and you are going to be stressing the viscous coupling to force all the power through to the front end. This is most likely going to cause that to run really hot and lead to damage. So, will it work. Yep, but I cannot say I would do it for long trips of say more than 1/4 mile (0.5 KM). Even then, it would be under very light throttle. You also risk causing damage to the CV joints and parts like that as they are only meant to take up to 50% of the possible engine power and you could potentially take them up to 100%, which may exceed what they can handle.
