Rear sensors
Tots, are you getting a long tone when you put the car in reverse or do you get nothing? Long tone would be atleast 1 sensor not working, but the brain box has power. If this is the case, block the wheels, put the car in reverse (may want the help of a second person) and then put your ear next to each of the four sensors. You should hear a high pitch chirp/squeal. The sensor that is not making this noise may be unplugged or bad. May need to buy a new sensor if this is the case.
If you have no noise when putting the car in reverse, the brain box or speaker may be unplugged, otherwise, if the fuse is good, you have a bad brain box and that will need to be replaced.

Check to make sure the reversing lamps are coming on when reverse is selected as the module is powered up when the gear stick is moved to the reverse position.
You could have a dodgy switch on the gearbox. (manual transmission) I don't know whereabouts the switch is on auto transmission though.

wulfrun speaking...
I have the same trouble, no power to the module in the boot. This is due to the switch activated by selecting reverse. I have a replacement switch but having removed the battery I am unable to locate the offending switch. There is one similar, not under the battery but tucked further back under the front suspension strut fixing. It it is the one I am looking for it is a smaller device and located on the rear end of the cluch bell house.
Has any one had success changing this switch and can confirm it's location

wulfrun, if you have a manual tranny, then you are in the correct location. You should see it sticking out the top of the tranny. Use a deep well socket and unscrew it. Screw it in by hand until it gets a bit snug, then use a wrench to give it a little bit more of a turn till you start to feel resistance. Reconnect the plug and you are golden.
