I have read several Wiring Diagrams but can't find one that is the same color coded like mine?? Mine has 5 wires,The colors start out of the back of the Mirror as one color and change within a few inches. Black and yellow turn into BR. BL goes to BG and so on. One Schematic shows the Mirror having 3 wires?? Reminds me of the Triumph TR7 with it's useless wiring Diagrams, Lucas of course.I read once that the 75' TR7 had won the award for the worst Wiring ever. Can someone help me, Please?

 

1951sms, what year car do you have. I will look at my drawings. If you have a 2004, please look in the driver's door and give me the build month/year. In 2004, there were a few different wiring harnesses for the car. So, the build month/year will help clear things up. As for why you are finding different numbers of wires, this relates to what options that the mirror has. Also, just because the drawing shows the mirror, it may not show all the wires that go to the mirror on that drawing. I have seen this a few times. Really makes you scratch your head some times.

It looks like you have what I have.....possibly?? My wires change colors but I need to be sure just which wire gets 12v to the connector.
