Default Reliability?

Now I've heard mixed opinions regarding the Jaguar XType. Originally I was looking at a 02, but I found a better deal for an 03 Xtype. What is everyone's opinion on the reliability here? It makes me nervous buying a used 60,000 miles+ one because I feel like people are saying it is going to break every second or something.

It is such a nice car in my opinion and I found a good deal for one, so I hope you guys can convince me to get it

It is reliable for a complex, rare car that can be expensive to maintain.

Alright well I can get an 03 XType 2.5 for $7,790, but the dealer says he is willing to be flexible with the price it is around 70,000.

What would be an acceptable price to offer for this? I guess repairs wouldn't be as bad since I'm already getting a car for less (originally was looking at $13,000 + cars)
