Default Removing Chrome Bumper inserts?

Does anyone have any info on removing the chrome accent inserts (I think that's what they're called) on the front and rear bumpers?

They are held on by little metal clips, many of them, and if you are not careful you can break the plastic they slide into. I would suggest taking the whole bumper off first, then doing it.

Jaguila, like was mentioned, best to remove the bumper covers. From there, you have 4 clips per chrome piece that is on the back side. You slide out the clips and the chrome pieces fall right off. I removed mine and converted over to the Sport look.

Thermo, that's exactly what I need . . . sport version. All I can find are chrome. What is the part number for the passenger side insert and where did you find it?
Thanks,
Dave

cissdm, I made my own sport blades. I simply removed the blades, scuffed them up with some 400 grit sand paper, applied some adhesion promoter, then applied the paint like normal. All it cost me was $50 in paint supplies to do the whole car and I still had enough paint left over to do a bunch of other things too. Kinda like I did this too:

Just a touch of chrome to make things really stand out.

Where did you find the paint at? Was it in a spray can, or did you spray it with a air brush

Dr Dome,
Amazon has the paint both in rattle can and standard paint size. not a bad match I got 2 cans for mine.
also any good paint supplier will be able to mix you some, you could ask the local collision center who they get there paint from.

Dr, I went to an automotive paint store and gave them the paint code from the door jam. They then mixed up the paint for me which was an exact match. Then all you have to decide is if you want single stage or double stage paint. I tend to go with double stage paints as I can then control how much clear I apply (where the single stage has the clear mixed in already).
