Retrofitting Folding Mirrors

Retrofitting Folding Mirrors
Has anyone attempted to upgrade non-folding mirrors to folding ones? I know the mirror switch on the door would have to be replaced, but are there connectors in the wiring harness for this option or is it start from scratch?
